World Food Day

From the 15th to the 22nd of October, 2015, foodpanda celebrated World Food Day by donating food items to the ISKCON food relief foundation, an organization improving children’s lives with access to education, health and community development services. With the help of our users, In the 2014 edition, we managed to donate 85 kilograms of nutritious food to children in need.



Food for Soul

The Food For Soul campaign in association with Uday Foundation was launched on Valentine’s day in 2014 to celebrate the spirit of the occasion by spreading the joy of good food to those who go hungry no matter what day it is. With this campaign, Foodpanda supported Uday Foundation’s ongoing project “Santushti” which it has been providing nourishment and food to the impoverished.

Republic Day Scholarship

Foodpanda in association with Twenty19 gives the opportunity to 100 students to take Twenty19 online courses for free. The Republic Day Scholarship is awarded to students with the aim of helping more college students in India to learn industry skills and to build their profiles. Applications will be accepted between 14th January 2015 – 26th January 2015.

Ticket to Cheer!

Foodpanda together with ESPNcricinfo and freecharge and the Akshaya Patra Foundation created a project where you can support your favorite team and for an entire year you can provide a child’s mid-day meal during the time of the Cricket World Cup 2015. The lunches will be provided to underprivileged schoolchildren across India.

Nepal Earthquake Relief

foodpanda and IFRF came together to support and aid the affected in the Nepal Earthquake. We asked the support of our customers in India to help the victims of the tragical earthquake. foodpanda had assured the foundation to match every rupee that will be raised from this activity. We were able to raise Rs. 134,933.
